Clinical Hiring at Advanced Care Partners
The Value Creation team partnered with the company to enhance scalability of its infrastructure and produce changes to its recruiting and onboarding processes
The Challenge
Advanced Care Partners provides private duty nursing (PDN) and prescribed pediatric extended care (PPEC) services in GA, FL, and TX.
A leader in clinical quality and customer service, Advanced Care Partners had so much demand for its services that it had to routinely turn away prospective new patients. The primary constraint on the business’s growth was its ability to hire RN, LPN, and CNA caregivers to staff the growing number of cases.
To achieve its ambitious growth targets, the company had to enhance the scalability of its underlying infrastructure and make fundamental changes its strategy and process for recruiting and onboarding new talent.
The Solution
The Value Creation Team partnered with Advanced Care Partners to implement a series of best practices from across the Council ecosystem, including:
- Personas: Created ‘employee personas’ to understand and target candidates with proven success attributes
- Process Improvement: Revamped procedures around new employee hiring and onboarding
- Technology: Implemented pre-employment assessment, applicant tracking, and HRIS solutions
- Compensation: Conducted compensation analysis, and introduced targeted increases
- Structure: Recruited successful CHRO to the Board and made the Human Capital Committee
The Results

Many companies face similar challenges, but it’s different being part of Council’s ecosystem. I value the ability to build upon proven best practices and lessons learned from across the portfolio.”
