Clinical Hiring at NeurAbilities
The Value Creation team partnered with the company to accelerate their clinical and paraprofessional hiring
The Challenge
NeurAbilities is the premier provider of neurological, behavioral and neurodevelopmental services in NJ and PA. At the time of Council Capital’s investment, the business had three medical clinics in New Jersey but sought to become the leading provider of pediatric medical and behavioral services across the Mid-Atlantic.
To achieve that goal, NeurAbilities needed to accelerate clinical and paraprofessional hiring. This included Board-certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavioral Technicians – two positions that are in particularly high demand and short supply. That said, before they could successfully hire, onboard, and train new team members, they first had to build the internal infrastructure and external branding that would support such rapid growth.
The Solution
The Value Creation Team collaborated with NeurAbilities to implement a series of best practices from across the Council ecosystem, including:
- Infrastructure: Implemented applicant tracking and employee assessment tools
- Process Improvement: Implemented standard operating procedures and trainings for recruiting and onboarding
- Training: Launched a new program to upskill hourly talent through trainings and tuition scholarships
- Compensation: Designed clinical compensation model to further incentivized the team around quality and productivity
- Analytics: Utilized PowerBI tools to develop real-time analytics dashboards to manage the candidate pipeline
