The Challenge
Alivia Analytics is a healthcare payment integrity platform offering a full suite of tools intended to detect and prevent fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) in healthcare payments, from pre-payment prevention through post-payment recovery, using AI and machine learning-enabled algorithms.
Alivia Analytics’ legacy FWA software provided a concrete foundation to build a comprehensive payment integrity software.
To successfully facilitate the development of Alivia’s platform, Council needed to identify and invest in software and services that would broaden Alivia’s client base and complement its existing FWA offering.
The Solution
The Value Creation Team partnered with Alivia Analytics to implement a series of best practices from across the Council ecosystem, including:
- Acquisition: Invested in an established claims system monitorization software to expand the Alivia platform, providing a more comprehensive suite of tools for Alivia’s customers
- Harnessing Synergies: Leveraged sales team and the complementary nature of the two offerings to cross-sell Alivia’s further developed platform
- Council Network: Utilized the Council network and existing relationship with SourcEdge CEO to strategically partner and successfully acquire a complementary offering
